Open to all registered adults, Wood Badge is the premier adult training program for the Boy Scouts of America. Wood Badge teaches contemporary leadership and team development skills in an outdoor and Scouting setting with the ultimate purpose to aid adults in providing a quality, youth run program that will enable their youth to grow to their greatest potential. The course covers all aspects of Scouting from Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity, and Venturing. Wood Badge combines the most current leadership skills used by corporate America with best elements of successful leadership programs from over 100 years of Scouting experience. The course is completed over two weekends which encompasses the Practical Training and application. At the conclusion of the Practical Training each participant has 18 months to complete the application phase (ticket) and meet all goals they personally developed and enhanced from the training experience. Outside of the position specific training, the Boy Scouts of America desire is to have each registered adult complete Wood Badge within 2 years of joining Scouting. Come be part of the mountain top experience, grow personally and professionally, but most of all gain that diverse knowledge of Scouting and increase your Scouting network. Participants are required to attend both weekends: September 7 at 7:30 a.m.- September 9 at 5:00 p.m. and September 28 at 8:00 a.m. - September 30 at 5:00 p.m. Cost for this top-notch training presented by your peers is $275!  Limited financial aid is available through scholarships. After July 1, 2018, the $100.00 registration deposit becomes non-refundable. Any balance due must be paid in full by July 16, 2018. For information please contact Chris Rogers at (920) 385-9817 or through email at chrisrogers817@gmail.com.
